Recently, the 6th Thailand High School Principals Roundtable Conference was successfully held at HEU. This event brought together 54 professionals from the Thai education sector to explore future development and cooperation opportunities within the educational realm, further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between our university and the Thai education community. Attending the meeting were DING Xuezhong, Dean of CICE of HEU, LIU Sijia, Deputy Director of the International Department, LIU Zhilin, Vice - Dean of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering, LIU Shusheng, Vice - Dean of CICE, and CUI Dan, Assistant Dean.

    During the meeting, representatives from both sides had in - depth discussions on several core issues, such as preparatory teaching, educational resource sharing, and student selection and training mechanisms. DING Xuezhong, Dean of the CICE, pointed out that our school had a long - standing cooperation history with Thailand that dates to 2004. With the completion of the Sino-Thai Science and Technology Cultural Center at HEU in 2021, Sino - Thai educational cooperation has entered a new phase of development. At the end of September this year, the school reached a significant cooperation intention with universities including Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, and Zhengda Management College. Additionally, Chinese language and literature and artificial intelligence preparatory education programs will be launched for Thai high schools, creating a local learning platform for Thai high school students planning to study in China and eliminating the barriers to studying abroad.

    Ms. Jintana Srisarakham, the principal of the Chulalongkorn Affiliated Middle School, expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from our school. She stressed that there is a Chinese saying, "Seeing is believing." Therefore, the Chulalongkorn delegation, consisting of 32 principals from 20 universities under its umbrella, attended the conference, looking forward to future cooperation.

    Singhatong Shatchawal, the principal of Nakhon Pathom School, delivered a speech on behalf of 22 principals from Nakhon Pathom group. He stated that the participants of the Nakhon Pathom Group come from five different cities and belong to the same Basic Education Commission. Everyone highly values this conference and anticipates using it as a new starting point to deepen cooperation with HEU, thereby providing students with more diverse learning experiences and broader development opportunities.

    During the conference, our university signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with 29 schools in Thailand, increasing the total number of MOUs signed between our university and Thailand to 118. The signing of the MOU not only reinforces the foundation of cooperation between our university and Thai institutions but also provides solid guarantees for in-depth cooperation between the two sides in areas such as education internationalization, talent cultivation, and academic research.

    CICE of HEU has always been committed to promoting international exchange and cooperation, and this exchange event with the Thai education sector is an integral part of the Globalization Development Plan of HEU. The successful conclusion of this conference indicates that the cooperation between our institution and the Thai education sector has reached a new height. Both sides will work in harmony to deepen cooperation and jointly write a new chapter in the internationalization of education, contributing wisdom and strength to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
