TIAN Miao, Female, born in 1980, is an associate professor and postgraduate supervisor. Her research interests include English-Chinese comparison, corpus linguistics, foreign language education and teaching. She is a member of the Second Language Acquisition Interdisciplinary Research Branch of Heilongjiang Foreign Language Association, a member of the Foreign Language Teaching Committee of Heilongjiang University, and has presided over a number of provincial humanities and social science projects and teaching reform projects, and has published many papers and textbooks.
XU Yanling, Female, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Harbin Institute of Technology, School of Foreign languages, TEM level 8.
She won the third prize of excellent lecturer of Harbin Engineering University for three consecutive years from 2011 to 2013. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and obtained the CELTA certificate of the University of Cambridge during August 2015 to August 2016. In 2020, she won the third prize of Young Teachers Teaching Competition of Harbin Engineering University. Since 2007, she has been working in the College of International Cooperative Education of Harbin Engineering University, undertaking teaching work of various classes and different levels, with good review from students. In addition, she has specialized in IELTS teaching research for many years and published corresponding academic papers. In the past two years, she has devoted myself to studying the ways and means of teaching courses related to engineering with English as a medium, and committed herself to realizing greater professional value as an English teacher.
CUI Dan, Female, Han, born in May 1974, Ph.D., is a professor, postgraduate supervisor, and the assistant to the dean of the College of International Cooperative Education. She is a member of Harbin CPPCC, and Heilongjiang Province Democratic League Special Committee. In more than 20 years of teaching practice, she has devoted herself to studying the laws of education and teaching, persisted in exploring new ways of teaching methods, and carried out research and reform of teaching methods. She has been deeply loved by students and won the titles of “Distinguished Individual of Education” and “Teacher of the Year”, and has been awarded the title of “Outstanding Lecturer” of the school for seven times. In the first teaching competition “Teaching to Sail” of Engineering University, she won the first prize of the whole school. She has coached students to participate in various international and domestic competitions, and mentored students to write English papers at a high level, achieving good results in the competitions. She was awarded as “the Most Industrious Worker” in the 34th International College Student Programming Competition Global Finals. While completing the teaching tasks, she also actively participates in the research work of scientific research projects, publishing more than 20 CSSCI and academic papers on education and teaching reform and 5 works, presiding over and participating in provincial and university-level education and teaching reform projects, and establishing a total of 28 scientific research projects such as basic business expenses of central universities. A total of 16 teaching and research projects presided over and participated in have been awarded with teaching achievements by the Provincial Department of Education and Harbin Engineering University.
YU Shougang, Ph.D. of School of Foreign Languages, Northeast Normal University, is an associate professor, and postgraduate supervisor. He was a visiting scholar to the School of Humanities, University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is a member of Heilongjiang Foreign Languages Association Interdisciplinary Research Branch on Second Language Acquisition. His research interests mainly include foreign language education and teaching research, second language writing, teacher education, etc. He participated in and presided over more than 10 national, provincial and school-level projects. He has published many papers in CSSCI journals such as China Foreign Language Education, Journal of Foreign Languages, Heilongjiang Higher Education Research and core journals of Peking University. He participated in the compilation of 8 textbooks, won 2 school-level education and teaching achievement awards, the third prize of the third Young Teachers Teaching Competition, the title of “Top Ten Teaching Experts” and the title of “Distinguished Individual of Teacher with Ethics and Morality” in Heilongjiang Province. He was the director of the English Teaching and Research Department of the College of International Cooperative Education and the secretary of the Party branch of Foreign language teachers.
ZHOU Feng is a lecturer at the College of International Cooperative Education, Harbin Engineering University, with a master degree from Harbin Institute of Technology. Since then, he has taught college English, IELTS reading, English language and other courses and participated in provincial and university-level scientific research projects. He edited the book “IELTS Reading Course” and contributed to books such as “Survey of British and American Countries” and “Chinese and English Collocation Dictionary”. He won the second prize of the Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition.
SUN Zhuomin is an associate professor at the College of International Cooperative Education, Harbin Engineering University. She studied in Harbin Institute of Shipbuilding Engineering from 1988 to 1991. She worked in Harbin Qiaohui Economic and Trade Company from 1991 to 2004. During 2003 to 2004, she pursued her master’s degree in the UK. Since 2004, she has been a lecturer and associate professor at College of International Cooperative Education, Harbin Engineering University with another master degree during 2008 to 2009.
SUN Liye, a member of the Communist Party of China, is a teacher in the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Team of the College of International Cooperative Education, teaching college English, IELTS reading, IELTS writing and other courses.
