At 8:30 a.m. on 7 November, 2024, in accordance with the inspection work deployment of the Party Committee of the university in 2024, the mobilization meeting for the inspection of the Party Committee of the College of International Cooperative Education by the third inspection team of the Party Committee of Harbin Engineering University was held in the conference room of Building 26, officially launching the inspection work, which will last for 15 working days. Jin Xuebin, director of the inspection office of the Party Committee of the university, all members of the third inspection team of the Party Committee of the university, members of the leadership team of the International College, and all faculty and staff attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Ding Xuezhong, secretary of the Party Committee of the International School.

Jin Xuebin, director of the inspection office of the Party Committee of the university, read out the “Notice of the Party Committee of Harbin Engineering University on the Authorization and Task Division of the Inspection Teams in the Second Half of 2024”. The notice pointed out that this inspection is a comprehensive review of the International College. The majority of Party members and cadres, especially leading cadres of the school, should attach great importance to and consciously accept inspection supervision and actively cooperate with the inspection work.

Ren Yijun, leader of the third inspection team of the Party Committee of the university, announced the inspection tasks and work arrangements. Ren Yijun emphasized that the inspection work is of great significance for strengthening internal supervision within the college, promoting the construction of a clean and honest Party style, and ensuring the healthy development of the college. The inspection team will maintain a fair and rigorous attitude and conduct a comprehensive and in-depth inspection of all departments of the college to ensure that no formalities are gone through. At the same time, Ren Yijun also defined the goals, scopes, and key points of this inspection.

Ding Xuezhong, secretary of the Party Committee of the International College, made a statement. Ding Xuezhong said that the inspection work is not only a comprehensive physical examination of the overall work of the college, but also reflects the attention and support of the Party Committee of the university for the work of the Party Committee of the college. Party organizations at all levels and all faculty and staff of the college should raise awareness, deeply understand the significance of the inspection work, and regard inspection as an opportunity to strengthen Party spirit cultivation, test work effectiveness, and accelerate career development.

The inspection team conducted a democratic evaluation of the leadership team and its members of the International College.
