On August 12th, Land Glory Group, a company from Indonesia, donated 300,000 US dollars to HEU Education Development Foundation to establish the "HEU - Land Glory Scholarship" to support the educational globalization of the university. The donation ceremony was held in the conference room on the seventh floor of the main building.

    Han Duanfeng, member of the Standing Committee of university Party Committee and vice president, Dai Hongren, Director and General Manager of Land Glory Group from Indonesia, and Lu Liken, Deputy General Manager of the group, attended the ceremony. The heads of relevant departments of the school also attended the ceremony.

    Dai Hongren and Han Duanfeng signed a donation agreement, and Han Duanfeng presented Dai Hongren with a donation certificate and a commemorative plaque.

    Han Duanfeng expressed his gratitude to Land Glory Group and introduced the school's development history, educational characteristics, globalization, and alumni work. He stated that the school would actively contact and serve alumni at home and abroad, deeply promote the globalization of education, cultivate more international talents, and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. He hoped that the "HEU - Land Glory Scholarship" would become an important brand to promote cultural exchange and talent cultivation, producing more outstanding talents.

    Dai Hongren stated that establishing scholarships was the obligation and social responsibility that entrepreneurs should shoulder. As an Indonesian entrepreneur, he was very pleased to establish this scholarship at Harbin Engineering University to provide more opportunities for students to learn and grow. He hoped that the "HEU - Land Glory Scholarship" could inspire more Chinese of the new generation with dreams and academic excellence, and help them grow into future talents who would promote progress in China and even the world.
