As the leading college in the construction of “New Engineering” in our university, the Future Technology College jointly held an IELTS mock test with the College of International Cooperative Education on 17th March. This was done to improve the quality of cultivating innovative talents and enhance students’ language proficiency in international communication. Through organization and selection, a total of 43 students participated in the examination.

    First of all, Ms. Hou, the director of the Project Office of the International College, briefly introduced the process and some notes regarding the IELTS simulation test. She emphasized that IELTS focuses on cultivating students’ practical application abilities in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, which plays a vital role in improving students’ global competence.

    This mock test was strictly in accordance with the formal IELTS test process, allowing students to personally experience an IELTS test atmosphere. After the test, students expressed that they had a deeper understanding of the IELTS test process and mode, which pointed out the direction for future study and preparation.

    The College of International Cooperative Education will spare no effort to cooperate with the Future Technology College to cultivate international talents in the field of future technology and continuously build a high-quality cooperation platform.
