The College Held a Symposium on International Education Cooperation with the College of Computing of the National University of Singapore

In order to vigorously propel the action plan of the globalization development strategy within our university and foster a greater number of globally outstanding and innovative talents, at 10:00 on 13th March, our college cordially invited the College of Computing of the National University of Singapore to conduct a symposium on international education cooperation. The attendees included Edgar Tai, the representative of the College of Computing of the National University of Singapore, Amy Mu, the project-in-charge teacher in the Chinese region, ZHANG Qingbin, dean of the College of International Cooperative Education, ZHANG Yonggang, dean of the Future Technology College, and Cui Dan, assistant to the dean of the International College.

Edgar Tai presented the fundamental details of the National University of Singapore (NUS), such as its QS World University Ranking, disciplinary arrangements, curriculum module configurations, talent cultivation endeavors, as well as student internship and employment circumstances. Dean ZHANG Qingbin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the National University of Singapore and declared that our college will persist in advancing the “2+2+1” joint-training program with the College of Computing of NUS. Moreover, more profound and productive collaborations will be carried out in terms of personnel exchanges and talent cultivation, thereby making novel contributions to the educational opening-up undertakings of the university.

Later, an academic exchange was conducted between Edgar Tai and Dean ZHANG Yonggang of the Future Technology College. Edgar Tai stated that curriculum modules would be based on comprehensive elements, including the talent cultivation model, teaching system, and research domains of the Future Technology College.


This symposium has firmly established a solid foundation for the further cooperation among the College of Computing of NUS, the International College, and the Future Technology College. The three parties will further intensify their cooperation in academic exchanges, mutual visits of teachers and students, and scientific research collaborations, jointly facilitating the international cooperation process of the three colleges.
